The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore honored Shawn Michaels and Sue Moll of 92.7 WOBM, as well as Tina Orth of Crossroads Realty for their personal, professional and community achievements at its 27th Annual Award Reception Oct. 28 at Crystal Point Yacht Club, Pt. Pleasant.

Shawn Michaels and Sue Moll showed their Girl Scout spirit by accepting their awards at  while wearing Girl Scout cookie costumes.

Tina Orth’s acceptance speech included an emotional thanks to her family and community.

In addition to the award presentation, attendees heard teen Girl Scout Caren Fitzgerald explain how Girl Scouts impacted her life.

Shawn Michaels and Sue Moll have hosted the Ocean County Breakfast Show on 92.7 WOBM for the past seven years.  They have dedicated countless hours to local charities and organizations, with significant involvement with the American Cancer Society Corporate Leadership Group, Strides Against Breast Cancer, Relay for Life, United Way of Ocean County, Dottie’s House and the American Red Cross Jersey Shore Chapter.

Tina Orth is past president of the Lakehurst/Manchester Rotary and vice president of the Senior Resource Alliance.  She is involved with numerous charities and organizations including the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, Caregiver Volunteers, Relay for Life, Business Industrial Council, American Cancer Society and the Community Medical Center Planned Giving Committee.
