As an organization dedicated to helping young girls grow strong in courage, confidence and character, the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore feels it is vital to recognize adult leaders who demonstrate these qualities in their everyday lives.

Through the annual Award Reception, the council honors both men and women whose contributions to the community, both professionally and personally, lead to a better quality of life.

The first Award Reception took place more than 25 years ago. Every year since then, the event has honored professionals who serve as exceptional role models for young women in their community. We thank all of these award recipients for being their and supporting today's girls as they become strong, confident women.
