What is an Individual Girl Scout?

An Individual Girl Scout, also known as an iGirl, is a girl who participates in Girl Scouts as an individually registered member (formerly called Juliettes and Independent Girl Scouts). As an iGirl, a girl immediately begins her Girl Scout Leadership Experience and selects pathways and activities that best meet her schedule and needs. She has the opportunity to participate in all council, regional and community Girl Scout activities for her program level and is invited to attend Series meetings where she meets other girls, earn badges, make friends and raises money for her activities. Many Girl Scouts participate as iGirls until a troop is available in their local community. For more information about iGirls, please contact DeAnna Poole, director of inidividual pathways, (800) 785-2090 ext. 139.
