The club meets monthly, now at three locations, the Program Activity Center in Farmingdale, Chariot Riders in Manchester and the Toms River Service Center. There will be 5:30 p.m. meet and greet with a 6:00 p.m. start at both locations. Meeting last until 7:30p.m.

Cost: $10 dues per meeting attended including Kickoff. Dues paid for each meeting attended.

All are welcome, please email or call (800) 785-2090, ext. 181 with the number of people attending. The Parent Cafe will be open during the meeting which is expected to conclude around 7:30 p.m.

• During monthly meetings girls are exposed to many different aspects of equine life building character and life skills without realizing it because they are having so much fun with the animals. Topics covered range from animal care and equipment to veterinary science and biology. Guest speakers are also invited to share their personal experiences.
• Club members also have the chance to participate in riding lessons, providing girls without the financial means the opportunity to fulfill their dreams of riding a horse.
• The Girl Scout horse club is another extension of the council’s partnerships with Chariot Riders and other area farms. Many activities take place at its equestrian center, open year-round on-site at the Monmouth Service Center.
• The club is open to all girls ages 5 through 17. Please contact us if you would like more information about this program.
