There are two ways to register - Walk In or Mail. Telephone registrations will not be accepted.

  1. Mail registrations postmarked before the "earliest" date will not be processed. Registrations will be processed by postmark date, not date received.

    All mailed registrations should be sent to:

         Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore
         Ocean Service Center
         1405 Old Freehold Rd
         Toms River, NJ 08753

  2. Walk-In registrations will be processed the same as mailed registrations. Their postmark date will be the date they are placed in the Program Registration Box at either service center. Registration and payments must be in an envelope with event name and current date on front. The box will be emptied at the end of each day. Registrations are processed by date, not time.
  1. All troops/groups and/or girls must be registered as Girl Scouts.
  2. Registration fees must be on a separate check for each program, and full payment, unless otherwise noted, must accompany registration.
  3. Events are closed when all registration slots are filled, even if before the listed deadline date. If an event is full you may ask to have your troop/group/girl placed on a waiting list.
  4. A confirmation will be mailed. Call one of the Program administrative assistants if you haven't receive one.
  5. Most registration fees and deposits are NON REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE. Refunds will be given if an event is cancelled.
  6. Girl permission slips and health forms are the responsibility of the troop leader/advisor.
  7. Brownie, Junior and Teen (Cadette or Senior) Girl Scouts may register individually if her troop is not attending or if she is a Juliette.These girls should complete a registration form and send in with the event fee. An adult must accompany Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts and, in some instances, an adult must accompany Teens.
  8. Most registrations will not be processed for five (5) working days this gives mail time to reach the Service Center.

Please Make Note Of The Following

Day Bus Trips/Overnight Trips (Museum and Shows)

  • All deposits are non-transferable and not refundable after the deadline date.
  • All registrations must include a list of names identifying all adults and children as well as phone numbers for every participant.
  • No Refunds will be given after the deadline date.

Programs/Events (Badge Programs)

  • No Additional Adults
  • No Tag-a-Longs

CANCELLATION POLICY

Events and trips may be cancelled if either the Monmouth/Ocean Service Centers and/or Monmouth/Ocean County Schools close due to inclement weather. In the event of a cancellation, the adult listed on the registration form will receive a phone call. Cancellations will also be listed on www.girlscoutsjs.org weather cancellations, or by call calling 800-785-2090.

Only those registered for an event will be notified of any changes or cancellations.
