The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore celebrated its 2013 Women of Distinction & Community Partners Gala on Friday, March 1st at Battleground Country Club, Manalapan. During the black tie affair, the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore honored the personal and professional achievements of the following outstanding individuals and organizations:

 Kyra Citron, Junior Woman of Distinction, Charles Lafitte Foundation

Investors Bank, Community Partner Honoree, Kevin Cummings

Rhonda Figueroa, Woman of Distinction, New Jersey Resources

Tindra Lanfrank, Woman of Distinction, Civic Volunteer

Gwendolyn Love, Woman of Distinction, Lunch Break

Sue Tellone-McCoy, Woman of Distinction, Manasquan Board of Education

Every honoree, from Monmouth and Ocean counties, is a person or organization of remarkable accomplishment whose contributions have bettered our community. They embody essential Girl Scout leadership qualities, making them valuable role models for girls in our area.
