All leadership and administrative volunteers.

Are there prerequisites?

Each adult who wishes to take the first step in training must completed a Volunteer Application and Adult Volunteer Agreement.  These must be sent directly to the council at GSJS, 242 Adelphia Road, Farmingdale, NJ 07727.  Attn: Virginia Sweeney

What to bring?

Please bring paper and pencil. $12 check for Adult Registration Fee.

What will I learn?

Volunteer Orientation is designed to introduce the policies and procedures of Girl Scouts of the USA and the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, including the organizational overview, getting your troop started, council facilities, publications, and participation options.

Volunteers who wish to become troop-group leaders will receive safety information which outlines the safety guidelines and procedures for Girl Scout activities.
