 Thousands of volunteers play a critical role in making the Girl Scout vision become a reality. The Girl Scout program would not exist without the countless hours given by troop leaders and assistants, group advisors, troop committees and parents, service teams, and even community volunteers and organizations. These volunteers deserve public recognition for their dedication to girls and the Girl Scout organization. Many go beyond the expectations of their position.
